A new face

Okay, I need some help here.

Jen has just come to England from Australia as the PA for the Australian Delegate to the UK Ministry of Magic (that's a mouthful). She's 19, and knows nobody except the people in the Australian Embassy.

Bor-ring!

She needs friends! People to show her the ropes and help her find her feet.

If your character wants to show her around London and Diagon Alley, I'm looking for a laid back kind of thread to start out with and more intense stuff like love interests and that sort of thing to follow once the character is a bit more established. I have an open thread in Diagon here if you're interested as well.

Jen also needs to get some ties with the Ministry, just because she ought to be liaising with them as part of her job. So if your character works for the Ministry and you think they should know her, let me know about that too, please.

Finally, I'd like to get her involved in the site plot. I don't really know how to do that other than looking at the stuff posted in the site plot discussion area. So if anyone has suggestions for me on that front, I'm listening.

I have 3 people that are ministry workers, all in their 30's.
Sofija is the Head of the Werewolf Division
Byron who is on the Board for the restriction of exotic and rare insects and creatures

and

Barnaby who is the Head of the Department for Magical Sports and Games

I dont know if they would ness know her but its the ministry im sure they would have heard of the new Ozzie chick somehow. ^_^

Byron might have met/seen Jennifer when she went through customs.

If she runs into Barnaby, they could have a good yap about whose country flogs the other in sports. Is Barnaby only into magical games, or could Jen rile him about cricket too?

Ummm i doubt he would know her through customs.........

But considering he is a bit of a womanizer she may appeal. So he could be just hanging out to talk to her a little bit to get the gist of it. Annnnnnnnnnndddd considering i dont much know my ins and outs of cricket i dont see the riling so much happening >.< but hes more into the magical sports, not so much muggle.
